AG Steve Six Announces Agreement with Eli Lilly

Kansas will receive $1.1 million from a drug company accused of illegally marketing an anti-psychotic drug.

Attorney General Steve Six announced Thursday that Kansas has joined other states and the federal government to settle allegations with Eli Lilly and Company.

The company allegedly promoted the drug Zyprexa improperly. Eli Lilly will pay $800 million in damages and penalties to the states, as well as the federal government, to compensate Medicaid and federal healthcare programs effected.
