HUTCHINSON, Kan. (AP) _ The Morton County sheriff's office is rounding 'em up.

Sheep, that is.

The Hutchinson News reports on its Web site that the sheriff's department took custody Wednesday of 716 head of sheep, a calf and
two dogs.

Deputies were responding to a complaint that the animals were not properly corralled on rural land in northern Morton County in southwest Kansas.

Sheriff Justin Holliday says the animals are now being held on the county fairgrounds.
