Topeka fire officials say one of two house fires Friday night was intentionally set.
The first started at 408 Southeast Winfield Street, Topeka, about 9:15 p.m.
Authorities could see smoke and flames coming from the house when they arrived.
No one was home at the time of the fire.
Officials say it started in multiple locations throughout the house.
Total damage is estimated at $30,000; $27,000.00 is estimated structural damage/loss and $3,000.00 is estimated content damage/loss. There were no reported injuries associated with this incident.
