HUTCHINSON, Kan. (AP) _ Reno County prosecutors say they'll seek a "hard 50'' prison sentence for a Wichita man if convicted of first-degree murder.

District Attorney Keith Schroeder filed a notice of intent to seek the extended sentence Monday for 29-year-old Felton Williams Jr. Williams and Ronald Beard are accused in the Sept. 1 shooting death of Kenneth White at his home in Hutchinson.

Both Williams and Beard pleaded not guilty Monday. A third defendant, 19-year-old Aubrey Oliver. agreed to plead guilty to a lesser charge in exchange for his testimony.

Oliver said White threatened Williams' cousin.
