Kids at the Kickapoo Boys and Girls Club are showing off their artistic talents. The club has joined the National Fine Arts Exhibit program that is designed to promote creativity, artistic skills and cultural enrichment.
Around 280 pieces from collages to pastels to pencil works, are on display from artists ranging from 5 to 20 years old.
This is the first year the Kickapoo chapter has participated in the program.
Selected pieces will be picked to compete on the regional level.
The exhibit was open from noon to 7pm Monday, Dec. 29, at the Kickapoo Community Building near Horton.
