Police Arrest One for Pizza Hut Robbery

TOPEKA, Kan (WIBW) _ Topeka Police have arrested one man in connection with a robbery at local Pizza Hut, 500 SW 10th. Casey Blackwell, 24, was booked for aggravated robbery.

A K-9 officer and his dog tracked Blackwell from the restaraunt to an apartment at 820 SW Polk.

Police believe he snuck into the back of the Pizza Hut wearing a mask, a dark hood, Carhartt overalls, and carrying a handgun. After demanding money, the suspect fled on foot.

Police continue to investigate the robbery and ask that anyone with information contact detectives at 368-9400 or Crime Stoppers at 234-0007.
