There's good news on the cable re-transmission front less than two months before the nation's stations go digital. WIBW-TV announced late Tuesday that 13 News and all our programming will continue to be seen for the next two years on Giant, SCI, WTC, Twin Valley, Tri-County Telephone and Council Grove Telephone Cable Systems.

WIBW is continuing its year-end negotiations with three other companies: Blue Valley, Cunningham and Rainbow Communications for WIBW-TV re-transmission in 2009. To find out how our negotiations are going, click on to www.wibw.com/digital.

If agreements are not reached with these or other cable companies, you may need to think about subscribing to a satellite TV service and buy the "local channels" package to continue receiving WIBW over Dish Network or DirectTV.
