WICHITA, Kan. (AP) _ The mayor of Tulsa, Okla., says an assistant city attorney, his wife and mother-in-law were killed in a fiery crash in Wichita.

Tulsa Mayor Kathy Taylor said in a memo to city employees Monday night that Assistant City Attorney Kurt Ackerman, his 51-year-old wife, Vickie, and her 86-year-old mother, Pauline Keller, were killed on Sunday.

The Wichita Police Department on Tuesday identified the driver as 57-year-old Ackerman, but said the two women in the car have not been identified.

Witnesses said the Infinity sport utility vehicle was eastbound on Kellog Avenue around 1 p.m. when it drifted off the right side of the road, corrected back, then drifted right again and hit a sign pole. The vehicle burst into flames on contact. All three victims died at the scene.
