Records: Man Found Several Ways to Kill Ex-wife

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) Investigators are searching computer records of a southwest Missouri man accused of plotting to have his ex-wife killed.

Greene County court documents show that 40-year-old Eric Holloway might have researched ways to kill his former spouse, Kimberly Holloway. He was charged last month with conspiracy to commit first-degree murder after a co-worker told police Holloway offered him $5,000 to kill the woman.

In justifying the computer seizures, Det. Shane Gooden said Holloway had several different plots for killing his ex-wife.

The man said Holloway had been complaining about child support and his ex-wife, and had told him that ``life would be better without Kimberly around.''
