Anthony Hall's Sentence Doubled Friday

One of three brothers involved in a hammer attack of a Topeka couple last Christmas is facing a double sentence. 28-year-old Anthony Hall, along with brothers Christopher Hall and Michael Timothy Lamar Hall, were involved in the attack that seriously injured the couple.

In a plea agreement, the Shawnee County District Attorney's office and defense attorney's recommended Hall receive sentences of 102 months to run together for the attack., aiding a felon, and attempted rape.

Judge Mark Brown doubled the sentence to a total of 17 years, one prison term to be served after the other.
