WICHITA, Kan. (AP) _ A Maize man could be sentenced to prison
for life after pleading guilty to robbing three bank branches
inside of Dillons stores.

Travis Ryan Klutts admitted that he robbed Intrust Bank branches
in two separate Wichita Dillons stores, one in late September and
the other in early October, then robbing the First Bank branch at a
Dillons store in Newton on Oct. 10.

The 27-year-old was caught after the third robbery following a
high-speed chase through Harvey and McPherson counties when police identified his pickup truck.

Klutts was arrested after he overturned his vehicle and fled to
a nearby shed, where he held police off for several hours.

Sentencing is set for March 9.
