Topeka Councilman Announces Reelection Plans

A member of the Topeka City Council says he will be back to seek re-election next year.

District 9 council member Richard Harmon announced Thursday he will file for another term.

Harmon is chair of the council's policy and finance committee and a voting member of JEDO, the Joint Economic Development Organization.

Harmon says it has been an honor ro represent Topeka citizens and humbling to have the opportunity to represent Topekans again.

Harmon is a graduate of Washburn and University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Law.

Council seats for the odd-numbered districts are up for election on the April ballot.
