Moundridge Teen's Body Found on Remote Road

MOUNDRIDGE, Kan. (AP) _ The McPherson County Sheriff's Office says the body of a missing 16-year-old girl has been found inside her car.

Authorities discovered the body of Olivia Stucky on last night after a passer-by noticed a car matching the description of the teen's car on a remote road near the Rice-McPherson county line.

Deputies arrived and found her body inside.

Olivia was reported missing Monday after she failed to show up at school. Her purse was found later that day at her home, while her cell phone and a note were found at her friend's home.

Capt. Doug Anderson of McPherson County Sheriff's Office told KWCH that the cause of death has been classified as undetermined, pending an autopsy. Rice County and the KBI are investigating the case.
