Nebraska Man Pulls Guilty Plea in Federal Porn Case

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) _ A Nebraska man has changed his mind about
pleading guilty to federal pornography charges involving an 8-year-old southwest Kansas girl.

Twenty-nine-year-old Zachary Noble of Falls City has already been sentenced by a state court to 30 years in prison.

Noble reached a plea deal in August with federal prosecutors, admitting that he had coerced the girl into explicit sexual conduct on camera and distributed the recording in the U.S. and overseas.

The deal would have given him a 15-year federal sentence. But last month U.S. District Judge Richard Kopf rejected the deal. Kopf said the sentence would have been well short of what Noble likely would get under federal sentencing guidelines.

Noble withdrew his plea Monday.

The girl had been a student at the Dodge City parochial school where Noble's girlfriend, 36-year-old Tabatha Adams, had taught. Noble and Adams also were indicted on two federal counts of child pornography production.
