University of Kansas students are showing off their design skills in their latest school project.
School of Architecture students presented their ideas Tuesday for a 3300 square foot, multi-medical specialty complex for the Saint Francis Health Park property. St. Francis is planning to build that park on the former Menninger hill, north of SW 6th and Wanamaker.
The students got to share their models and discuss the details for the development. The goal is for it to include green design elements.
Kim Gronniger of St. Francis says it is a great opportunity for students to get hands on experience. Plus, she says it helps get people excited for the future project.
Right now, no definitive decisions have been made on when or if construction will begin.
