Former Lawrence Youth Group Director Gets 59 Months for Child Sex Charges

A former Lawrence youth group director will spend nearly five years in prison on child sex charges.

38-year old Christopher Cormack was sentenced today to 59 months behind bars.

He was convicted in October of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.

The victim, now 24-years old, came forward when she learned cormack was ordained to serve as a chaplain at Kansas State University.

She says their relationship began when she was fourteen.
