The state says video showing children being physically harmed led them to suspend the license of an Abilene child care center.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment issued the emergency order Tuesday for, "Learn and Grow Child Development Center," located at 1003 North Brady in Abilene.
The center is operated by hospital district one of Dickinson County. It has web cams that parents can access. The order says video showed toddler-age children being tied to chairs during meals as punishment.
One child was shown being shoved and flung against a wall while still tied to a chair.
