Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius was among governors attending a first-of-its kind meeting with President-Elect Barack Obama in Philadelphia Tuesday.
In a statement, Sebelius says Obama made it clear that he wanted input and ideas from governors about the focus and size of an economic stimulus package.
She also says she is optimistic the ideas Tuesday will help frame the president elect's proposals, and be very helpful to Kansas as the state copes with continuing to deliver essential services in a declining economy.
