A road project in Topeka has been given the green light.
Shawnee County Commissioners Monday approved a budget of more than $2 million to build a roundabout at northwest 46th street and Oakley, that's just east of the roundabout at 46th and Highway 75.
The money will be used to widen that area as well.
Public Works Director Tom Vlach says the county will meet with businesses near the area to ensure people will have access and not affect business.
The work is expected to begin in 2012.
