$12.2m Hot Lotto Ticket Sold in South-Central Kansas

TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) _ The buyer of a Hot Lotto ticket in south-central Kansas is $12.2 million richer.

The top prize in Saturday's drawing is the third to be purchased in Kansas. Lottery officials said Monday that an Independence woman won $12.9 million in the Hot Lotto drawing on July 4, 2007, and a Pittsburg resident won $5.2 million in the May 31, 2008, game.

The winning numbers were 7-14-22-24-38 Hot Ball 2.

The ticketholder had not come forward Monday.

The region where the ticket was sold includes Barton, Rice, McPherson, Marion, Stafford, Reno, Harvey, Pratt, Kingman, Sedgwick, Butler, Barber, Harper, Sumner, and Cowley counties.

Hot Lotto is played in Kansas, the District of Columbia, Delaware, Idaho, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, and West Virginia.
