Drew Dimmel has the only known color footage of the group's 1964 concert stop at the Old A's stadium in Kansas City, Mo.
The Overland Park man told KMBC-TV that he was 15 when he filmed the Beatles with his dad's new camera. The film contains a few seconds of the opening acts and 51 seconds of the Beatles.
After uncovering the film, Dimmel sent an e-mail to a London auction house describing his find. He says the president of the company called the next day.
The Kansas City, Mo., stop is notable because it did not sell out, and the Beatles earned $150,000 for a 32-minute show.
