Salvation Army Find Missing Kettle in Kansas Mall

WICHITA, Kan. (AP) _ A Salvation Army kettle that had been reported stolen has been found with the money still inside.

And now Salvation Army officials say there was no theft. The kettle disappeared last week from the Towne East Square shopping center.

Salvation Army officials say the kettle was moved to another location at the mall without the bell ringer knowing about it.

Another kettle stolen last week from a Wichita grocery store remains missing. Police think the kettle and its stand were thrown into the back of a pickup truck.
