Community Thanksgiving Dinner Preparations in Full Swing

By  |

Preparations are already underway for Topeka's annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner. Volunteers were busy Tuesday taking care of the turkeys and other arrangements.

The dinner still needs donations of items like instant potatoes, boxed stuffing, canned yams, green beans, cranberries and coffee. You can bring donations to the Expocentre's Ag Hall until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, or from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday. Dinner will be served from noon to three Thursday.

If you need a meal delivered, call the United Way's two-one-one line by 12:00p.m. Wednesday.
