Pauline South Intermediate students got to celebrate Thanksgiving a couple days early. The Washburn Rural High School band joined in the festivities Tuesday at the school's Community Thanksgiving Dinner.

Attendees were treated to a delicious turkey dinner along with the entertainment. Every year, the students, their families, staff, and citizens celebrate the holiday together.

The school says they want to create the opportunity for everyone to experience hope, a spirit of thankfulness, and a sense of community.

Stage decorations were provided by Marian Clinic and Wal-Mart.
