Washburn Orchestra Play with Two Legendary Guests

Washburn orchestra students got the chance to share the stage with two legendary performers. Juilliard school resident conductor George Stelluto and Washburn artist in residence Larisa Elisha joined the university orchestra for a concert Monday night.

The program featured various pieces including "In the Steps of Central Asia" by Alexander Borodin. Stelluto serves as music director of the Las Vegas Music Festival. Elisha is concert master of the Topeka Symphony Orchestra and the Wichita Grand Opera.
