Blue Skies Squadron Presents Check to KCSL

A local organization is pitching in to help less fortunate children for the holidays.

The Blue Skies Squadron Tuesday presented a check to Kansas Children's Service League.

Blue Skies is a club interested in large airplanes.

They raised money by selling concessions and a drawing for a P-51 mustang.

They say their message is simple:

"We have a terrific club here and basically what we've tried to do this year is raise some money for KSCL because we just believe that all kids deserve a loving home," said Bob Longyear, Blue Skies Squadron.

Blue Skies raised $1,057.
