Sebelius Confirms Chat With Presidential Transition Team

TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) _ Gov. Sebelius still isn't saying if she's being considered for a position in the cabinet of president-elect Barack Obama.

Sebelius says she talked with John Podesta on Thursday. He's leading Obama's transition team. She said the call was designed to keep governors informed about the transition.

Many Democrats consider Sebelius a potential secretary of energy or health and human services.

But Sebelius reiterated that she's had no contact about a job with Obama or his staff. And she said she's not actively seeking a position.
