Fallen WWII POW's Honored at Fort Riley

German and Italian military officers were at Fort Riley Friday honoring fallen prisoners of war from World War II.

The officers laid a wreath in memory of their country's soldiers who passed away while held captive in our country.

The soldiers say feel a connection despite the different eras.

The ceremony included the firing of a three round volley, and the playing of German and Italian taps.
