Lawrence - It wasn't a full NFL stadium, but it was a full house at the Dole Institute on Thursday night. Former NFL commissioner Paul Tagliabue addressed the crowd about his days running the league, and about the globalization of sports, and it's effect on the way children participate.
The speech was the first in a group of appearances in the Dole Institute's Leadership and Globalization in Sports Series. Tagliabue was the commissioner of the National Football League from 1989 to 2006.
