Salvation Army Announces New Record Goal

The Salvation Army announced Wednesday a record goal of $530,000 for this year's Red Kettle Campaign. Last year's goal was $400,000.
The effort begins this Friday at 34 locations across Topeka.

Bell ringing will start at Wal-mart and Sam's Club stores November 28th.
The Salvation Army will have a kick-off ceremony at 6:00 p.m. Thursday night atop the WIBW AM and FM studios, west of Huntoon and Wanamaker. Everyone is invited to attend.
