An urgent need blood drive was held from 10-4 p.m. in the lower level of Peto Allied Health Center at Washburn University.
All donors received a t-shirt and a $1 gift-certificate to Tortilla Jack's restaurant as a thank you for their help.
The American Medical Students Association Pre Med and Beta Beta Beta Biology Honor Society sponsored the event.
All blood donations given through the Community Blood Center go to local area hospitals.
