Topeka, KS (13 News) - Some students at Meadows Elementary School got a visit from Kansas' "First Dude."

Judge Gary Sebelius, husband of Governor Kathleen Sebelius, read Grandpa's Teeth to the students as part of National Young Readers Week.

As part of the program, local community leaders in both the public and private sector are asked to read a favorite book to students to help the kids learn the importance of reading.

Sebelius, who read to his two children when they were young, says reading is something the kids can do for a lifetime.
