(Topeka, KS) - An agreement is reached to improve the safety of Kansas State Workers.

The Kansas Organization of State Employees announced the agreement with the state Friday.

The agreement covers health and safety, training, and personal protective equipment

KOSE Agreement With State- Jeans included in Personal Protective Equipment

- Tool allowance doubled from $150 to $300

- Training increased for employees supervising inmates

- Employees on call back status paid for full shift if not called back

- KDOT Employees get 6 hrs. rest before snow removal
