Topeka KS, (WIBW) Wichita city council members went into executive session at 3 p.m. Friday to determine who would be their next city manager.
Topeka's City Manager Norton Bonaparte is one of five people who interviewed for the position on Wednesday.
"He is not granting interviews during Wichita's consideration process," said Topeka City spokesperson David Bevens.
The executive session ended at 5 p.m. with no decision made. Council will resume their session Saturday at 2 p.m.
