Kansas Attorney General Steve Six announced an agreement today to crack down on erotic services ads on Craigslist. Kansas and 42 other states reached the deal with the on-line classifieds site.
Craigslist will require posters of erotic services ads to give a working phone number and pay with a valid credit card. The site would have to hand over that information if subpoenaed by law enforcement.
All proceeds from the ads will go to charities.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children was also partner in the agreement.
