Some local high school students showed off their award-winning musical talent. The Seaman High School marching band won best in class for 5-A schools at the Neewollah Festival in Independence, Kansas a couple weekends ago.
There were a total of 25 bands in the competition, seven of those in the 5-A class. Seaman band director Cary Stahly says he is proud of his bands hard work and success this year. To share your good news call (785) 272-NEWS.
