CONCORDIA, Kan. (AP) _ Officials have identified the skeletal
remains found earlier this month near Concordia as those of a
17-year-old Salina girl who was last seen by her parents in August
The Cloud County Sheriff's Department says dental records were
used to identify the remains as those of Nicole J. Hoard. The
remains were found by deer hunters on Oct. 18 in woods near the
Republican River. The area is not far from busy U.S. 81.
The Sheriff's Department is asking for anyone who had contact
with Hoard during the summer of 2007 or since to contact it or the
Kansas Bureau of Investigation.
