Kansas State University President Receives Honor

The retiring president of Kansas State University is honored for his leadership abilities. Jon Wefald was inducted into the university's business leader hall of fame at a dinner ceremony Friday, according to the Wichita Business Journal.

The award is given to those who have distinguished themselves from their peers in their chosen field. The newspaper also reports Wefald is the first academic administrator to be inducted into the college's hall of fame. He plans to retire at the end of this school year.
