Westar Talks to Elementary Students About Energy Conservation

A group of Elementary school students is learning that energy conservation can be fun and easy.

Westar Energy visited fourth graders at Lowman Hill Elementary School Tuesday to teach the students how they can be energy efficient in their own homes.

The 4th graders watched a video, then talked about which home appliances are big energy drainers.

Westar also gave the students power savers kits with energy efficient light bulbs and tips on conservation.
