Topeka community leaders got a firsthand look at what a day in the life of a cardiologist is like. The "Cardiologist for a Day" program was held at the Cotton-O'Neil Heart Center.
Cardiologists discussed important topics like the number of uninsured people in America, the burden of heart disease in Kansas, patient detection and preventing heart disease.
Organizers say there are many important factors that contribute to good health care. The event was followed by a tour of Stormont Vail Hospital.
