Topeka residents lined up Tuesday for a mock election. The run-through was held at the Walgreens at 1001 S.W. Topeka Blvd. and sponsored by Biasbusters. It is held to educate the public and the voter. Ballots were available just like a real election.
A banner for the late Grant Cushinberry was also there to be signed by the public. The banner will be presented to either the History Center of Topeka or the Topeka Public Library.
Another mock election will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the same Walgreens.
