Fort Riley Retirees to be Honored in Ceremony

FORT RILEY, Kan. – Each month Fort Riley honors Soldiers and civilians who are retiring from active service. This month’s ceremony will be conducted at 9 a.m. Oct. 29 inside King Field House, Building 202.

The retirees are:

• Lt. Col. William Bunting, 1st Infantry Division

• Maj. Carrell Moody, U.S. Army Garrison

• Sgt. Maj. Stephen Stalcup, 1st Inf. Div.

• 1st Sgt. Robert Simmons, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team

• 1st Sgt. Max Garrett, 1st Brigade

• Master Sgt. Tad Steckler, 1st Engineer Battalion

• Sgt. 1st Class Stephen Hendrix, 1st Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment

• Sgt. 1st Class Stella Turks, 116th Military Police Company

• Sgt. 1st Class Leonard Stowers, 72nd Engineer Company

• Sgt. 1st Class David Dawkins, 2nd Battalion, 32nd Field Artillery

• Sgt. 1st Class Cory Kozielski, 1st Battalion, 34th Armor

• Staff Sgt. Robert Peluso, 2nd Battalion, 32nd Field Artillery

• Staff Sgt. James Lentz, USA Mission Support Element

• Sgt. Rodigo Alhambra, 1st Brigade

• Delwin Wiemers, Fort Riley Fire Department
