Community leaders are working to promote public higher education in Kansas. As a part of that effort, higher education forums are being held across the state, including one on Monday at Washburn University.
The Kansas Board of Regents organized the forums to stress the importance of higher education for the state and its economy.
There have been four installments in the series. Other forums were held in Manhattan, Pittsburg and Wichita earlier this month. The final forum will take place later this week in Overland Park.
