The Matrot Castle and Vineyard hosted an event full of Renaissance fun Sunday, featuring hot food, homemade crafts and live entertainment. Farmers and vendors from across the state came and celebtrated the local economy.
Sunday's event is only a preview of what will soon be the Kansas Heritage Market. Organizers hope the market will be open in April 2009. Proceeds from the Fall Festival benefit the Kansas Heritage Foundation.
