Chapman Residents Make Strides in Rebuilding

By  |

Chapman residents devastated by a tornado that ripped through their town are making big strides this week in rebuilding it. John and Kay Londeen owned and operated a funeral home and hardware store.

The funeral home was destroyed in the June 11 tornado. The hardware store was only damaged. The new funeral home is now 75 percent complete, in only one day.

The Londeen's built it using modular components, which takes half the time. It also meets "green" standards and energy initiatives.
