K-State Continues Making Case for Hosting Lab

K-State continues to make its case to become home to a new biolab.

A site near Roberts Hall on the Manhattan Campus is among five finalists for the National Bio-and-Agro Defense Facility.

Governor Kathleen Sebelius led a delegation to Washington earlier this week, touting Kansas as an ideal location for the $451 million dollar facility.

Homeland Security will choose a location by the end of the year.
