18 Killed in Explosion in Indian Fireworks Factory

JAIPUR, India (AP) _ Police say an explosion at an illegal
fireworks factory in western India killed 18 people, including 10
children.
The blast early Thursday happened in a workshop set up in a home
in a slum in the town of Deeg.
Area police chief Rohit Mahajan says a huge explosion brought
down two neighboring homes, leading to the high death toll.
Deeg is about 120 miles northwest of Jaipur, the capital of
India's Rajasthan state.
