A multi-million dollar face-lift is in the works for Topeka's levee system.
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Kansas City District personnel met Wednesday to unveil the plan.
The project consists of six levee units located on the Kansas River and two of its tributaries. The meeting began at 4:30 p.m. and continues until 6:30 on the first floor of the Cyrus K. Holliday Building. at 620 SE Madison.
