The Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation Reservation is now home to a historic cannon. A self-propelled Howitzer is now on display outside the We-Ta-Se building as a historic memorial. Purchased by the United States Army in 1963, the Howitzer was used during the Vietnam War. The Howitzer can fire a 200 pound projectile 20 miles and has a maximum speed of 34 miles per hour.
