4 Killed in Helicopter Crash in Chicago Suburb

AURORA, Ill. (AP) -- Authorities say four people were killed when a medical evacuation helicopter crashed overnight in the Chicago suburb of Aurora.

Police spokesman Sgt. Robb Wallers says the helicopter was headed for Children's Memorial Hospital from Valley West Hospital in Sandwich.

Wallers says the victims included three crew members and a patient. The helicopter belonged to Air Angels Inc., an emergency medical transport service.

Wallers says the helicopter crashed in a field near a residential area in east Aurora and was engulfed in flames.
